We're excited to announce the launch of Medicare Advantage Identification – a new capability designed to improve Medicare coverage accuracy and eliminate ambiguity when verifying benefits for Medicare patients.
When a patient presents with Medicare, the standard approach is to check eligibility against a CMS payer formatted as {State}MCR (e.g., VAMCR). However, this check alone doesn't reveal whether the patient is actually enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan —which changes how claims should be routed and billed.
