Hello! My name is Yoheved Retig, and I am a Pre-Licensed Professional based out of New York City. and an alumni of The Fordham Graduate School of Social Work. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I am conducting both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.
Are you looking for more meaning in your life or struggling with a transition? Are you having trouble in your relationships and want to improve them to live a better, richer life? The last year has been unprecedented for most of us, and you may be looking to start recovering from all the hardship experienced during the pandemic. Therapy is a great place to start that work. Sharing your inner world with a therapist takes courage, and my job is to work with you to create a supportive, comfortable environment where we can combine your courage with new ideas, perspectives, and insights to help create meaningful and lasting change.
My methodology is influenced by a variety of modalities and philosophies to meet clients where they are and help them to reach their goals, including positive psychology, motivational interviewing, attachment-based therapy, emotion-focused therapy, anti-racism, feminism, intersectionality, and family systems therapy.
We as humans have a unique responsibility and gift to live and build meaningful lives, beyond just surviving, and we can get lost, tired, or confused along the way. Sometimes, we just need some help. Being a therapist is the privilege of helping people become more themselves. If you are interested in working together, I would love to hear from you!
It is hard to find a therapist who is a good match for you, which is why I am offering a free 60-minute initial session. Contact me today! For insurance plans, out-of-network benefits are accepted with claims filed weekly on the client's behalf and reimbursements are sent directly to the client.
Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
