I provide a safe, empathetic space and a solutions-based approach to explore areas of concern. I also work with clients to identify the issues underlying a feeling of general malaise. Sometimes we just don’t know what we don’t know.
I specialize in helping individuals with life coaching, family conflict, and relationship issues. I am also trained to assist people with anxiety, coping skills, depression, internet addiction, obesity, self esteem, and weight loss.
I am a compassionate and psychodynamically-trained counselor, who works with clients on strengthening their relationships with themselves while also tackling career, family, dating, relationship, or weight issues, among others. I use CBT as well as other modalities to help clients reframe negative thinking to elicit emotional and behavioral change.

Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
