I am a psychotherapist specializing in working with adults with various wellness goals in NY and NJ. I'm passionate about supporting BIPOC navigate their healing journey with warmth and compassion because we all deserve the opportunity to thrive and not just survive. My extensive training in trauma and use of EMDR allows me to guide clients towards feeling unstuck in their negative self-beliefs and regain their sense of peace. I use culturally sensitive, antiracist, anti-oppressive structures and systems approach to work through and process unresolved feelings or issues around the self and our place in our communities. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is especially important for allowing people to realize and embrace their boundless strength and joy by providing a warm, gentle, and welcoming space.

Outside of my life as a therapist, I finds passion in promoting the safety and success of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals within creative spaces or non-traditional career paths. I enjoy pursuing new hobbies/interests, playing video games, reading, the occasional cosplay, and introducing clients to my administrative assistant (my adorable - but needy - cat, Chubs).

Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
