I believe that experience in and sensitivity to topics of diversity and multiculturalism are essential skills a therapist must have to understand and create lasting change. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and groups deal with life transitions, self esteem, and trauma and PTSD. I am also trained to work with teens, adults, and elders (65+) with alcohol use, anxiety, career counseling, coping skills, depression, grief, racial identity, school issues, sleep or insomnia, stress, and weight loss.

Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
