Hello! My name is Larissa Golloub, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of New York City. I’ve been in practice for 28 years, and am an alumni of The Wurzweiler School of Social Work. I have been providing online therapy exclusively since 2013, and I hold a Board Certified Telemental Health Training Certificate.
Many people are experiencing an increase of intensity in their feelings of anxiety, panic, and depression during this time of covid. Along with these comes the worsening of sleep issues; impatience and arguments with significant others; increased use of alcohol, food, and other substances; burnout from working at home; as well as the exacerbation of long standing issues. I provide a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy delivered to you through video. Each session, you can expect weekly goal setting and encouragement as you move towards your ultimate goals of feeling more at ease and at peace.
I've been providing teletherapy since 2013 and have been trained in the ethical delivery of telehealth services and protecting your confidentiality. I can help you feel supported and help you move toward your desired changes without you ever having to leave your home. Online therapy can be your first step towards regaining your sense of wellbeing.
It’s not easy to act on the decision to begin therapy. When you do, you’ll find that you feel comfortable with me right from the beginning. To be sure, we'll set up a free 20 minute video consultation. Pick up the phone and call me, or email me, and we’ll take it from there. I look forward to connecting with you.
Therapy sessions can be paid with American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Cash, Check, or a Health Savings Account. I accept the following insurance plans: Aetna, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, UMR, UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH, and Wellfleet.
Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
