If you're hurting right now that doesn't mean something is wrong with you. Many people who work with me learn that the behaviors they want to overcome are normal responses to life’s challenges. That doesn’t mean that you need to get used to sleepless nights, racing thoughts, panic attacks, or depressive episodes. I’ll help you make sense of why you are responding in these ways and together we’ll help you find relief. The work we do will involve radical self-acceptance.
My expertise is in anxiety, depression, relationships, body image, faith crisis, and family stress. I affirm LGBTQIA+ individuals and non-traditional relationships, and am qualified to work with individuals, couples, and families of teens and adults. I use a combination of therapeutic techniques to help you feel more connected to yourself and help you repair and strengthen your relationships. A few therapies I utilize include: Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Attachment-based, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
