I also draw from LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy and Multicultural Counseling to curate a space that is safe and non-judgemental. Whether you’re a first-generation American struggling with acculturation or looking to cultivate deeper understanding of your identities, you’ll learn how to make meaningful change in mindful and meaningful directions that energize you.
In these truly unprecedented times, I also offer counseling for those who are grieving. Everyone has faced a loss, whether it’s the passing of a loved one or loss of meaning, direction, safety, or sense of feeling grounded. Grief is very much like a fingerprint. It manifests differently for everyone, but that doesn’t mean you have to go through it alone.

Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
