MA, LCAT , ATR-BC, CCEP, EMDR Certified
I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with over 13 years of experience working with adults and children. If you are seeking treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviors, family challenges, relationship issues and/or emotional/mental challenges you have come to the right place. This is a collaborative process, which means I work in partnership with you throughout the treatment, adjusting the intentions and focus of therapy as needed. I see myself as a guide, a facilitator, educator, and support person to offer you a safe place where you can start learning how to overcome obstacles and live a more fulfilling life.
I studied different therapeutic interventions to treat trauma, attachment wounding, addictions, and other mental health issues. My extensive background involves both traditional and non-traditional therapy. Challenges can be treated from the mind (CBT, DBT) but incorporating body/mind somatic practices helps build lasting sense of self and self esteem. I am also an eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) Certified Therapist.
Clients who are ready to transform their life but need the guidance and tools to do so are ideal for this work. Patients open up to treatment when safety is felt and I hope to provide that here. The psycho-therapeutic work can create lasting changes. For children, it works a little differently, as I use Creative Arts Therapy Play Therapy and Sandplay Therapy.
I can provide a super bill for out of network insurance.

Before your therapy visit, check your coverage with our Peace of Mind Calculator, which estimates how much you'll be reimbursed once you hit your deductible or out-of-pocket max.
Remember superbills, those long invoices you got from your therapist? How about claim forms? You don’t need either of those. We’ll handle your claims electronically and file them for free.
Check the status of your claims with our free Client Portal, which gives you a real-time window into the reimbursement process so you don’t have to worry if the check is in the mail.
We handle your mental health insurance electronically and file your claims for free. We also track the status of your claims and ensure they are processed correctly so you don’t have to worry about paperwork or making frustrating phone calls.
We work with your therapist to obtain all the information needed to file your claims. Then we file them electronically each week.
You only need to make sure we have your most updated insurance information. You don’t need to do anything else!
Nirvana has a free tool called the Peace of Mind Coverage Calculator, which estimates your reimbursement amount at the start of the calendar year, when your deductible has been met, and when your out-of-pocket maximum has been reached. You only need to enter the name of the therapist you’d like to see, along with your name, date of birth, and insurance information.
Once you have met your deductible, your reimbursement will be mailed to you about 4-6 weeks from the date of your first eligible claim. In some cases, this process can take as long as 90 days.
Your reimbursement will be mailed to the address on file with your therapist and your insurer. We recommend verifying your address directly with your insurer.
You will receive your reimbursement by check. Some insurers combine payments for multiple sessions and others send one check per session.
Yes! We offer a free product called the Client Portal, which allows you to do exactly that. You may be invited by your therapist, but you can independently register here. With the client portal, you can view the exact status of your claims and reimbursements.
We’re glad to answer any questions you have. Email us at email@example.com and someone from our Help Desk will reach out to you.
